"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." - Matthew 24:14
This actually maybe a new revelation of scripture and the Biblical gospel for some.
The Gospel of the Kingdom, as spoken of by Jesus, is the message about the rule and reign of God over all creation. It involves the proclamation of God's sovereignty, the call to repentance, the offer of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the anticipation of the ultimate fulfillment of God's kingdom on Earth. It encompasses both personal transformation and the restoration of all things under God's authority and Lordship.
The “Gospel of Salvation" isn't explicitly mentioned in Scripture; rather, it's referred to as the "Gospel of the Kingdom." This emphasizes the broader message of God's rule and reign over all creation, which includes versus on salvation, how to be eternally born again and gain everlasting life through Jesus Christ, but extends beyond it to encompass the restoration of all things under God's authority. The gospel is more than only our eternal salvation, even though that is a wonderful part of it!
If we only preach the salvation part in nations of the earth, we may not be yet meeting Jesus Christ's message of The Gospel of the Kingdom, not just salvation. Eternal salvation is just one part of the Gospel, not the only part Biblically. In the Bible, Jesus never said preach the gospel of Salvation. No, not at all, it was the Gospel of The Kingdom. Salvation is, of course, a huge part of that, but it is not the only part of the gospel of scripture and the Kingdom.
He said, "this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
The gospel of salvation preached to all nations may not actually fulfill this scripture until also this gospel of the Kingdom is also fully preached to all nations.
When I was in India and the nations, I make it a clear point to not only preach repentance and salvation, but to also preach the full Biblical gospel of His Kingdom! We saw so many repent and be saved yes, but they also heard about the Kingdom of God, the Biblical gospel message.
Here are a few verses that mention the "Gospel of the Kingdom":
Matthew 4:23: "And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people."
Matthew 9:35: "And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction."
Matthew 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
Mark 1:14-15: "Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.'
