The Bible
The Bible is the one and only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:14-17, 1 Peter 2:2).
God - Eternal, Creator, Redeemer
There is ONE GOD, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (who is Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22).
Jesus - Son of God, Savior, Resurrected
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31, Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22), His miracles (Acts 2:22, Acts 10:38), His substitutionary work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21), His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension and exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9, Acts 1:11, Acts 2:33, Philippians 2:9-11, Hebrews 1:3), and in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory (Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-21, Revelation 22:12, John 14:3, Acts 1:6-7, Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:44).
That man was created good and upright, for God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” But man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God (Genesis 1:26-31: 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21).
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 2:11, Titus 3:5-7). The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24, Titus 2:12).
Holy Spirit - Co-equal, Co-eternal, and Co-existent
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He is co-equal, co-eternal and co-existent with the Father and with the Son. His ministry upon the earth is to convict and covert man as well as be the great paraclete (comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener and standby) to the Church. The washing re-generation and renewing by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Titus 3:5). The baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus to all believers and is received subsequent to and is distinct from the experience of New Birth. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:29, Acts 1:4, 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is meant to empower every believer to be a witness of Jesus Christ by the preaching and demonstration of the Gospel (Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49). The gifts of the Holy Spirit and "speaking in tongues" are also evidence of this experience. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:2-7. From the book of Acts, and biblical accounts it is given to all believers who ask for it, with the evidence of "speaking in tongues". The ultimate purpose of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is so that we, the believers, may have power to be witnesses (Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2, Luke 3:16, Mark 16:17).
Baptism
The Lord Jesus Christ, Head of the Church, established two ordinances for the Church to follow: Water Baptism and Communion. Baptism in water, by full immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord. It is for all believers. This holy sacrament identifies the believer with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4, Acts 20:21, Hebrews 10:22).
Repentance
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ (John 14:6, 1 John 1:9, Acts 3:19, Proverbs 28:13, 2 Peter 3:9, Matthew 9:13, Ezekiel 18:32, Acts 17:30).
Eternal Salvation
We believe in the free gift of salvation and everlasting life by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ only (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:11-12, Luke 24:47, John 14:6).
The Church
The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:22, Hebrews 12:33).
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the threefold purpose of leading the Church in: Evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20); worship of God (John 4:23, 24); edification of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16).
The Rapture
In the BLESSED HOPE - the rapture of the Church at Christ's second coming (Titus 2:13, Revelation 22:7, Revelation 22:20, 2 Peter 3:10, Matthew 24:44, Revelation 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-9, John 14:3, Romans 8:23).
Healing
Deliverance from sickness is provided for by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and is the privilege of all believers. The finished work of the cross provides healing of the physical human body in answer to the believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Psalm 103:2-6, Mark 16:17-20, James 5:14-16, Matthew 10:1, Acts 8:5-7, 1 Peter 2:24).
Eternity
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost - the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. There is only one way to God and everlasting life, and that is only through God the Son Jesus Christ (Revelation 20:11-15, John 14:6, John 3:16, John 8:24, John 10:28-30, 1 Peter 5:10, 1 John 2:17, 2 Corinthians 4:18, 1 John 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Romans 8:23, 1 Corinthians 15:3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
The Great Commission
We believe the Bible is very clear that our mandate and mission assigned to all believers is The Great Commission of Jesus Christ. It is a command from Jesus to all that believe to play a part to "make disciples of all the nations" (Matt. 28:19-20). God has commanded every believer to play a part in working towards the fulfillment of the great commission, and the preaching of the gospel to the lost. "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:14-20, Matthew 28:16-20, John 20:21, Matthew 9:37-38, Isaiah 6:8, Acts 1:7-8, Luke 24:46-47, Romans 10:15, John 4:35-38, 2 Timothy 2:15, Luke 10:1-12, Romans 1:16, Acts 28:28).
Marriage and Family
We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man and one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values (Ephesians 5:31-33, Ephesians 6:1-4, Hebrews 13:4, Matthew 19:5, Leviticus 18:22, Genesis 2:24).
THE APOSTLES CREED
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father.Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son].With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
